A geocaching trip

Met up with pals Margaret and Ian plus their granddaughter Cassandra and her mum Alli for some caching.
First of all we were at Wigan Pier for an adventure lab cache and an earthcache. 
Next we drove to Haigh Hall and it was heaving! We parked on the overspill car park which was also quite busy. At £3.50 per parking ticket they must be raking it in.
Cassandra, mum and grandma went to the playground while Ian and I tracked down three caches (it was really a tidying up of the remains of a set). 
The photo is of a tree we particularly liked which was on the caching trail.
After this we adjourned to the outside tables at the cafe before heading off home but calling in Aspull to do a drive by on our way home. We parked nearby - this was an earthcache / war memorial cache.
Felt somewhat tired but tried to have a nap after tea and failed.
It was an enjoyable day.
