Abstract Thursday ...

... Reflections.

They were calling for some major downpours later today so we got out early for both a walk and some photo ops.  Richard suggested the sunflower fields at one of our local hospitals.  Besides the sunflower fields they also have a nice walking trial.

The sunflower field was massive and the flowers were so tall.   So tall in fact that I had a hard time getting some decent shots.  I was shooting up for most of the time.  But I still manages some good photos.

When we returned home I did some swimming as it was quite warm on our walk.  I usually leave my swimming for the afternoon but with the weather forecast I swam before lunch instead. While I was in the pool the juvenile male Ruby-throated Hummingbird made another appearance.  This is why I almost always bring my camera out to the pool with me! 

The rest of the day just flew by as I was working on some of the pictures I took whilst out.  Richard had given me a 'reflection' Photoshop action and the above abstract is the results of my playing.  I quite like it.
