Welcome party

Mom was good today. She engaged with me for a solid 2hrs looking at photos, coloring and doing a word search. Then it was time to sleep. Unfortunately (of course) it was then that the social worker met us.
We had a good chat and again, I feel that she is on our side.
On my way home, I stopped in to see mom’s new hob and oven. It looks good.
Christine was still here when I got home. Once she’d gone I made scrambled eggs for us, then walked the dogs very late before bed.
