A quick puff

A bit of rain early on, but otherwise it's been a dry day. I phoned Specsavers and got an almost immediate appointment to try to resolve the new lens issue. Have sorted it out, as I thought, I went to Superdrug to buy an off the shelf pair to tide me over until my specs were returned. They seemed OK and I walked back home to try them on the computer. On the way I went over to the North Pier to see if there were any interesting boats, but there was nothing out of the ordinary. i thought this man's hairdo was a touch out of the ordinary, so he's my Blip today. 

Unfortunately the specs were not OK so I had to return to Superdrug and swap them for another pair. I tested them thoroughly in the shop and thought they would do the job. They're not that good and I have to bring the screen closer. I just hope my real pair will be good when I get them back in ten days or so!

I chopped up the last of my prunings and bagged them up for a final trip to the dump at Moleigh - today's extra. Then home to sit out with a book and a cuppa and do some watering in the greenhouse.
