Show time!

The annual Lorn Agricultural Show was being held today,  so after the usual visit to the pier for fresh fish I set off for Benderloch and the Tralee Common Grazings where the show is held, close to the sea.

The usual collection of cattle and sheep in many shapes, colours and sizes, including this fella, my Blip today. It must be rather annoying to have this heavy set of horns around your face all the time, but I suppose he's used to it! A portrait with a difference.

The usual collection of classic cars too and all sorts of stalls from baking and books to wood carving and others. And of course many friends to chat to!

On the way out I met a well-groomed dog -  maybe the first I've seen wearing a bow tie! My extra today. I think a good time was had by all!
