Thank you everyone for your support and good wishes regarding our move.  I'm glad it's been resolved at last.

It's been fairly cool today.  

Took more books to the Oxfam bookshop.  Quick market and supermarket shop.  

Started raining on my homeward journey. 

More packing this afternoon.  Found essays from my psychology A level course and counselling course.  I did enjoy learning and writing essays as a mature student.  I've kept a few essays. 

Packed all my drawing books and some art materials.  All the drawing books weighed a lot.  Packed knitting and craft materials too. Looking forward to resuming drawing again.  Two large boxes transferred to the garage. 

Found an ornament Mr's father gave us.  We had two different ones, one we gave away and forgot about the second buried in a high cupboard.  It's made of heavy stoneware and is definitely not a toy.  It has two sides - see extra.  We're not really that keen on ornaments especially one as large and heavy as this.  It's 37cm high. I've posted it on Nextdoor for sale.  

I think packing 2-3 boxes a day Is a good pace at the moment.
