Fire in the sky.

After a couple of weeks of hot dry weather, topping 30C every day, something had to give. Beginning shortly before midnight and continuing through to about 3.30am we had the most spectacular electrical storm accompanied by much noise of thunder. I dared not risk using the tripod for fear of becoming a human lightning conductor so there I was using one of our porch roof supports (made of timber) and improvising like crazy. Not a huge success but worth the effort all the same.
