Tipi

Whether this is a tipi or tepee - or as some have suggested a yurt, this was a colourful sight just after midnight when I went to pick up the wedding party goers.

The venue is on the shores of Loch Venachar and in addition to the restaurant and dance venue it has the large canvas construction with a fire pit inside. ( I always think of a yurt as being more rounded). Coaches were due at midnight but as ever the departures were a bit drawn out as everyone had a great time) so I had a chance to wander around and get this photo.

Today was more overcast but a trip to Aberfoyle then on out to Stronachlacar was enjoyable. The road to Stronachlachar is now, for a good three quarters of its length, in excellent condition. Far better than Edinburgh roads!

At Aberfoyle we watched a presentation on sheep and then a collie dog herding ducks. Followed by ice cream.
