The calm before ….

Storm Floris is reportedly on its way to hit us Sunday night /Monday but today was a beautiful calm morning. By the time I got up there were light winds creating eddies on the water but some sheltered areas were still and mirror like.

It remained a lovely sunny day and we spent some time by the loch side watching people on the water but- some brave souls were swimming yesterday. We did watch one family out on a rowing boat, rowing backwards. I don’t think they knew and seemed happy enough!

When the clouds eventually came I’ve and the wind dropped the midgies began to appear but the deterrent seemed effective. But we eventually headed indoors hoping that we’ll get some more sunshine tomorrow.
