Silly brambles.
I noticed these cheeky brambles some weeks ago when they were in flower. They have climbed up through the shrubs, in this case a holly, that form the border with next door’s back garden and our front garden.
They need cutting back of course but they probably originate from next door. We’ll get them when we borrow some hedge cutters in Bath on our next visit as our battery has had it!
Chris has had the steps out and picked the blackberries. They look good and I shall put them with my remaining few blackberries from last year’s pick which are in the freezer.
I’m going to make ValC’c Lemon Berry pudding for tea tomorrow when our son will be coming. He doesn’t like blackberries much but he loves lemon so it’s a compromise!
Even sillier was dropping my camera after taking this shot with the help of the zoom. I’d picked some weeds at the same time as you do and suddenly it was on the ground.
Looking for a camera repair shop now. Think there may be one in Ilkley though no doubt they’ll have to send it off. There used to be a great old guy in Keighley who was brilliant, but he’s retired. Always the case!
