Martins

I am having a relaxing day, not doing much in particular. It seems to be helping.

I went out mid afternoon to see how the house martins were doing. I could see martins flying around, making their distinctive alarm call. A young wood pigeon was settled on the scaffolding, not far from the nest (extra ). They’re going to be really upset when the workers return, cross fingers their maternal/paternal instincts won’t cause them to abandon the nest and the young inside.
