Blessings

Life has taken on a slightly slower pace recently – The Traveller and his girlfriend have gone off to kitten-sit at a friend’s house for a week, and our middle son’s family have just flown off to Poland. Smithers and I are enjoying the relative peace and quiet, but at the same time we’re feeling very weary. Maybe we’re just getting a bit too relaxed.

Here are some Blessings roses from our garden, which are doing well despite the lack of rain over the past few weeks. I’m always amazed at how well roses cope with drought, for which I am very grateful because they’re one of my favourite flowers. I’m sure you'd never have guessed that! ;-)
