It is only August 3rd!
There will be a large apple crop this year, but there are already good sized windfalls on the lawn. Tomorrow’s promised storm will bring more down.
I still have apple in the freezer from 2 years ago…..
Must do better this time.
I had a cuppa at 0815 then slept on and off to 1020. I hate that.
Must have done me good!
Marj phoned at 1200 to see if I wanted to go out for Sunday lunch. We went to a quaint old pub in Great Whittington.
Then I drove him to Corbridge to pick up Margret for another afternoon of sorting out old photos and letters at her house.
I went on to Wall to see Jenny and Dennis. Dennis was peacefully asleep in his recliner chair. They have had a horrid time while he was in the RVI and before her was transferred to Haltwhistle. (Lots of praise for the cottage hospital.)
Kate told me a lot about what had happened. You could not invent some of it because no one would believe you.
When I came home, I girded my loins and gritted my teeth so that I could spend more time making the acquaintance of my MacBook. I am not finding it intuitive, despite being an IPad user.
Copying files from one folder to another made me look clumsy and too much of the screen is taken up with menu and toolbars. I want to use Photoshop on a good sized screen. Why do I have to eject every drive or SD card? That stopped being necessary don Windows ages ago. And so on!
My desktop is not able (or willing) to take the latest update of Photoshop and is going slower than I like, so I want to use the Mac.
Mr Google helps me, but not always. Perhaps if I used a mouse?
I’m enjoying looking at the Iceland pics.
