Birthday Girl

An early start, always is on the Friday of Sam’s birthday weekend, the need to get on the road means being on the road at 6:00am.
First though it’s gift opening over coffee, Sam is an avid reader but particular about what she reads so choosing becomes more difficult each year.
I think her Mum and I did alright this year though a book on English Folklore, signed by the author and with a message inside, it put a huge smile on her face.
Mrs S and Sam set off, Paddy and I went back to bed.

Not for long though, breakfast, Paddy loaded and out to Devoran to brief today’s painters on what is needed.

Then Richards for my Friday coffee and a tot before we both headed round to Ian, (now cruising to Australia), and a ladder move.

Eventually Paddy and I arrived home for a coffee, sandwich and a sit down before walking down to the Seaview pub to catch up with friends over a beer.
Two hours later we were on our way home, dinner then some TV before heading to bed.

Never sleep well without Mrs S, Paddy fidgeting didn’t help either.
