A view from Jeanneb

Cheeky cat!

Today we have travelled from Inverness on the train to Kyle of Lochalsh along the Kyle Line, one of the countries most scenic railways.

After spending a short time in Kyle, admiring the bridge and view across to Skye, we retraced our journey a few miles back to beautiful Plockton. We stayed here last year and it was then we decided we would like to take this railway journey.

Hot smoked salmon pâté for lunch at the Plockton Hotel sitting outside overlooking this lovely bay.

This little cat had been hanging around watching everyone eat (think I saw it last year too)
and as soon as someone left it made a move for the milk left on the table! It was dipping its paw in and licking it! After a while it was up,in the table to get a better stab at it! The waiter soon came out and shooed it away.

We had a lovely day and spent the evening walking along Ness Bank watching fly fishermen in the river and the Inverness sub aqua club fishing rubbish out of the river!

(We are heading to Findhorn tomorrow for lunch with Alex before continuing N West where we probably won't have Internet access. )
