Da Gill Roof Collapse

A morning of heavy rain, much needed really.  It cleared by noon, brining sunshine, clear sunny skies this evening.  Flat calm all day. 

After a great night last night, I slept well this morning.  Cracked on with house chores after breakfast.  Got out walkies when the rained eased.  Popped down to mam's this afternoon, then a walk with Laura.  Working in the shop this evening, a steady night of customers. Feet up before bed. 

After arriving at Laura's, I spied the roof had collapsed on an old house up the hill from her.  Off we set, a good excuse for a hill hike.  Last time I blipped this house, the roof was looking a sorry state, and must have fallen in recently.  Sad to see it fall further into disrepair, and with wind forecast for tomorrow, it could see the rest of it gone.  It was mam and Laura's first time up to the house, whereas I used to come here regular as a boy, when the house was open and still furnished, like someone had just walked out.  Da Gill, Blett, Cunningsburgh.
