Calm Before da Storm (Floris)

A calm, cloudy, midgie morning.  By 10am, the rain started, then gales and heavy rain all afternoon.  Teatime, the skies cleared into a sunny evening, warm, flat calm and midgies. 

Monday morning again.  I started the week on the mini essykert with Cliffy.  We've been up north on general waste collections, then Lerwick for business plastic recycling waste, also smaller streets.  Walkies on my own this evening, then later bedtime walkies with Sammy. 

After a lovely few weeks, the gales and rain was a shock to work in today.  We got away with it first thing, but soaked by the end of the day.  We certainly escaped the worst of Storm Floris, but more wind and rain due in the early hours tomorrow.  Internet has been knocked out for many, including me for over a week now, can't think a day stuck indoors with school bairns on holidays would be much fun.  A lovely calm more at the end of the road, Collafirth, Delting.
