Wainsgate

We went to a sort of open day at a decommissioned chapel in Old Town a few minutes drive from Tim and Adele’s .
The intention was that this building is going to be a place for people coming together to perform , to talk , to eat , to see and make art.
Things were going on in various rooms: an art exhibition, dance improvisation , music , talks. Some fabulous street food , l had the vegetarian croquet in focaccia with salad. There was a bar but we chose to have coffee and homemade cake ( actually l brought my cake home l was so full) We left mid afternoon but events are going on into the night with DJs  and more live music. We will definitely go back it had a great vibe.
I had intended to stay another night with my family but the weather forecast is for a severe storm so l decided to drive home late afternoon l’ve really enjoyed my weekend.
