Blurry
(3/8/25)
The day was so busy and stressful, I couldn't think of blipping even though there was a bit of time left in the evening.
We began the day tidying up the Lodge. G travels up North tomorrow for a few weeks, so she wanted to blitz the place before she left. I put in a few hours in the office. We've picked up a tiny dent on the car, which I need to get fixed before I hand it back. Dave, the painter, had given me a contact when we spoke to him on Saturday. I called the number today and he said to come around 2:30.
We were on our way to see him when we stopped at the office and got delayed by the salesman. It was good, though, as we got to chat about the future of our tenure. I have to say, Henry gave us loads of time. The options are to 1. Upgrade and get a new tenure or 2. Change the decking to composite. Neither of these options is within our reach.
Thankfully, Steve was still able to see us. He took a look and said what needed to be done, but he was hard-pressed for a long time, so he gave us another contact. Before we left the premises, the car finally got a wash, inside and out (it was given to us without a clean between rentals). My blip sums up how I've felt today with things looking blurry.
The business we were referred to can help us, but they need to juggle a few pre-booked appointments to accommodate us. We will know later in the day.
We went back home, and G started to pack. We discovered today that the park pays for the TV licence, so we can finally watch live TV and get some world news. Phew.
