We left Winchester and started the journey north, with a detour across to the Lincolnshire coast.

The five 11ft high statues on the outside of the library seemed spooky when I was a child and they still have impact.

Wander around the town and a pause in the Docks Beers taproom before dinner at the Curious Cat.
