A Day Worth Recording

Brecon

The end of an excellent holiday (so there will be some blip-catching-up to do once the several hundred photos have offloaded...).

To break the drive home (in which Mrs Google found rather more grass-in-the-middle back lanes than expected) we stopped off at Brecon for a leg stretch and to grab some lunch.  It was surprisingly busy, with a bit of a car show in the town centre.

We leg-stretched to the cathedral (so is Brecon a city then?) thinking we'd not visited it before, but apparently we had.  I thought the crucifix looked familiar.

I quite liked the light on this chap.  I should probably have taken note of who it was. (Since identified as Bishop Edward Bevan.  d.1934).
