Stormy Monday

A bit of a strange feeling day because of the weather. We’ve not been badly affected by the storm but it’s been overcast, breezy and raining at times. I went to the allotment and did a bit of tidying up before the rain set in. These rudbeckia are one of my favourite things growing on my plot at the moment. I planted them this year and they appear to be enjoying life on the allotment.

Otherwise I’ve been dog walking, preparing shallots for pickling and courgettes for chutney.
