Disco Inferno

KAOS Musical Theatre’s production this year is “Disco Inferno”. Not the most well known musical perhaps, but I can guarantee you’ll know most of the songs in it.
No cameo role for me this year as I’m committed to “Absent Friends” right up to the day before dress rehearsal for Disco Inferno. I’ll still be helping out backstage though, as I have done for the last thirty plus years.
I’m told there’s not much scenery/prop moving required in this show and “it shouldn’t be any problem for someone with my experience” but, even so, I think it will be a good idea to attend some of the rehearsals, when I can, to get an idea of what will be required from the stage crew.
With the promise (bribe?) of a free t-shirt if I came down tonight, I dropped in and watched a couple of dance numbers.
Obviously early days in the production process, but there is plenty of enthusiasm and energy on display from the cast.
Looking forward to seeing it evolve over the coming months…
