Duplo and Storm

The storm, Floris, raged outside, the trees swayed, flower stems snapped, pots smashed, and chairs toppled. The advice was to stay inside. Perhaps a little extreme, but I didn't walk far.

My achillies has been improving, but the gardening I attempted yesterday was perhaps too much.

The wee boys have been enjoying their granny and grandpa's train track and I wanted to check on the one in my loft. I was surprised at how complete the set is, and found a motorised Thomas too. After a battery change, he happily set off, not bad for 23 years of not being played with.

Alongside the trains was a box of Duplo. It spans 4 children and about 36 years. It was in need of a good clean. What better way to spend a stormy day. I just need a child to bring it back to life now, although the family chat was alight with the first 4 claiming their bits and waxing lyrical with their memories of playing with it.
