Tiny Tuesday: In Nature

Our day began with an emergency call from Wally who had fallen over. Mr isbi has recorded the gory details here.

After patching him up, we headed down the valley. I should have pruned the boysenberries back in January but that was just before my heart op and I wasn't in the mood. So I finally got most of it done. Next we need to get some new netting to properly cover them.

The second new calf of the season arrived today. It was obviously only a short time since it was born when Mr isbi spotted it, and soon after he found the cow had taken it across the creek! Fortunately it wasn't washed away.
It really is quite tiny but the mother has a very big bag of milk so it should grow fast.
Here it is meeting one of its cousins for the first time.
