Swiss National Day
It seems we did the right thing arriving a day early as it was a national holiday today and everywhere was heaving with people!
We spent the morning setting up camp in our new pitch before wandering into town for the festivities. The kids enjoyed badge making, face paints, bead bracelets and there was live music and other various celebrations going on.
We wandered through town and fought our way through the crowds to get a few supplies and figure out where the main station is for cable cars and trains.
After a quick pasta tea, we headed to the entrance of the site, directly below the impressive waterfall, to watch the fireworks. Both Anya and Max enjoyed them, Anya still with her hands over her ears for the noise.
