Blackberries

After a day of going to see all the parents and a trip to the doctor for the ear infection I got the train yesterday to Stroud, to see Paloma and stay there for the night. Good to see her as always and to stay up too late chatting. 
Slept really well. She went out and I got the bus to Uley. So good to be here. It's so quiet. 
I went for a walk up "the Bury" where there are so many blackberries. I didn't have anything to put them on so will go again tomorrow with a bowl. There's definitely enough for a pie. Or two.
