Growth

In the 2 weeks we have been away I can hardly believe how much the pumpkins and the maize have grown. I haven’t grown either before but I bought 2 little pumpkin plants at a local plant sale and my neighbour with the chickens gave me 4 little maize plants. The pumpkins have spread over the whole area with yellow globes appearing and the maize is forming. Whether they ripen I suppose will depend on the weather. Both are interesting me ! 

Even the sweet peas have shot up and the highest are almost out of reach for picking. Fortunately friends have been popping in to pick them and 2 friends have done a wonderful job with watering.
