Life through my eyes

Nymphsfield

The field where Jo, Beau and I met her daughter and Daisy and Flo this afternoon. Not a lot of great energy vibes, and not helped when Flo crashed into Beau's rear leg and he somersaulted onto his head and front leg. He was a bit stunned and limping but didn't yelp when I checked his leg over so probably just a bit of a soft tissue injury.

The family at the end of our row of four houses are Argentinian and the boyfriend of the eldest daughter is here until they start university. Jo and I were asked if we had any work for him (unpaid). He's so polite! I have found some of Jo's jobs that he can do, and she will pay him. His girlfriend mentioned yesterday that he is a carpenter so today I asked him to look at the garage and see what shelving he might be able to build. He said he would like to think about it because he would like to make it a proper job and more comfortable for me. He then asked if I would like the floor and walls cleaned and painted (which I do as I never got to it last summer and my shoulder isn't so keen on these jobs now). He's working really hard to master English which has some funny quirks!

Also he is a guitarist and recommended Gustavo Ceruti (Cerati) and the track Vivo in particular.
