Flying Fish

The tern family were out in the sky above me at Ripple lake this afternoon with the youngsters being a bit demanding by the sound of it. Juvenile in Extra

Millie was loving the walk - so many different smells to snuffle out whilst I
took my time, pacing it slowly. My step count was up considerably so that was encouraging. On the camera front I had updated both of them with new Firmware and wish I'd checked this one out before I needed to use it. The R3 is password encrypted and as I hoisted it up to take a shot it asked for the password. Oh dear. I feared at one point it was a battle I wasn't going to win and the result was I have now had to put the camera back to its factory settings. What a hassle. I'm going to have to go through the menu and put back all the settings I use regularly.

I've boxed up the R5 to send to London for a service. A good overhaul is in the offing and maybe more than that even. My cameras really do get some stick, with use everyday plus the huge shutter counts I do for flight shots. It could be expensive I fear.
