An ordinary life....

Love hearts for a little sweetheart...

My friend Mae sent me more photos of her newborn granddaughter Eliza this morning.  She is absolutely beautiful. Just shy of 9lbs she is all filled out and so perfect.  I hope her mum and dad like the love heart blanket.

I ironed the border of it today (for some reason the borders on this blanket and the last one have curled a little.  Not experienced that before. The borders on all my previous blankets have lain perfectly flat) and after taking some official photos of it (another in extras) for my crochet log, it is now wrapped in tissue paper awaiting the arrival of a cuddly haggis to go with it.  All being well I will post everything off on Friday.

A day of small chores and more crochet.  First square of sixteen completed for my granny square cardigan.  I am winging it.  Heaven knows how it will turn out!  :-)

We had a quick dinner of pizza as D has a singing rehearsal this evening for a concert coming up up soon.  I had hoped to get my journal up to date with the back blips from the Skye lot's visit but got caught up editing photos.  Might get it done tomorrow :-)

Almost the middle of the week again.  Jeez!
