I didn't want to go to the vet...

but Mummy made me. It was time for Basil's bi-annual check up and we needed prescriptions for his medication. He's a trooper. He's not developing cataracts as we had thought, his general health is the same, his teeth are good. The only concerning thing is that he has lost 400 g since he was last weighed. That's not inconsiderable since he's a small dog anyway but the vet was not worried. More sausages for you Baz.

Then we went to the Outwoods for egg and bacon. The wind was, well, blowy, since it was Storm Floris. Crazily, Charnwood Borough Council are closing both the Outwoods and Queens Park tomorrow by which time the storm will have passed.

Spent the rest of the day updating the Travel Group website with the results of the July competition.
