Snow on the Mountain

Native to the prairie here despite that descriptive name. Another wildflower this week, when I hardly ever post any (thank you Miranda!). Its scientific name is Euphorbia marginata. The flowers are the tiny centers, surrounded by petal-like white/variegated bracts. 

Another good family day, which ended with a Tex-Mex dinner to celebrate the four summer birthdays (out of our group of seven).
