A walk around the village looking for things of interest was my mission today. In fact such a pleasant afternoon could not be wasted. I had already done a few household chores so didn't feel guilty at all.

I stopped for a chat with a few people on the way round but only one was a dog walker so perhaps they go out earlier or later in the day.
