Inappropriate Touching

Yes, we're back home after two and a half lovely weeks in the south of France, returning home just as the Aude catches fire! 

We saw the smoke on our evening cycle ride yesterday, and it appears to be a massive burn. I touched base with Veronica, with whom we had a meet-up last week, but thankfully she's currently ok.

A bit of drama when we got back to Bristol, although not as much as had we flown into Birmingham... the brand new battery in the Audi was flat! No idea why although perhaps the car park folk may have put the interior light on... 

We got a jump start from the airport people, and set off for home. Rather recklessly I got talked into stopping a the Coop for milk and bread - and of course the car wouldn't start again. 

A walk home from the portable emergency battery, and all is currently well, or on charge, and hopefully both. So just a bee shot for today, although I do rather like the one bumble pushing the other off the lavender!!!
