Wasps

In the morning I emptied my office as much as possible. Some desks and the (heavy) piano remained but that’s ok.

I then started to remove the ceiling.
While doing so I noticed a sudden increase in wasps.
That made me suspicious and not long after that I discovered a (what I think is a) huge nest in the space between the two ceilings. Diameter approximately 40cm.

I stopped working in that corner to calm the wasps down and called a professional wasp remover. We’re scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

I still managed to remove all the carpet but by then there were just too many wasps flying around. I closed the office door.

It feels a bit as if I bit off more than I can chew. But there’s no way back anymore.
