All you can eat

A pause day in my project.
A bit sooner than expected but it’s because of the wasps. The room was packed with wasps, lots of them are already dead on the floor but lots more are flying around.
The wasp exterminator came by in the afternoon and filled the nest with white powder poison.
He was all dressed up in a beekeeper suit, but still in shorts. That surprised me somewhat.
Anyway, the job was done in 15 minutes but he told me to give it a few days before removing the nest.

When he went away, Annemarie and I went to a kitchen store for an intake to be informed about a new kitchen. That looks promising.

In the evening we all went for dinner to Eten & Co in Groningen, an all you can eat restaurant. For the first time we were with 5. Daans girlfriend Marit (6 weeks now) came along as well.

On our way back home, when we passed the mills in Ten Boer, I played Pink Floyd with open windows. I wonder if Ron has noticed that. :)


As for the nail in my foot.
Yesterday evening I sent a picture of my foot to my physician, regarding a red circle appearing around the tiny wound. To me it looked like an infection, and that’s not a welcome development in combination with my hip replacement.
Within 30 minutes he responded and agreed with me, so, as of today I am on anti biotics. 7 days, 3 pills a day.
