All The Right Kit
We've had a busy day getting ready for a trip to Devon on Friday.
In the morning we went to Witney:
- mrsfb had her hair done. The bad news is the girl that cuts it is now a director, so will charge another £8 next time on top of the already stupidly high price
- popped into Sainsbury's for a few things to tide us over the next couple of days - £70! At least we found a proper till with a real person on it. It was just a shame that the guy in front of us took so long to work out how to use his phone to show his Nectar card, check for points, and pay.
- bought another figurine in a charity shop
- had a look at a used Canon M50 camera in an attempt to entice mrsfb back into the photography world
- got my blip. I was looking for steps really for Wide Wednesday, but gave up. I saw this guy doing a portrait session on the grass in front of the church and got a shot before they saw me. He seemed to know what he was doing, and looked like he had all the right gear.
In the afternoon at home:
- did the lawns
- hacked the overgrown jasmine. I didn't realise there would be so many flowers though. I rescued a few and mrsfb made an arrangement (extra). Not great but she didn't have much to work with.
- got the suitcases down from the loft
- mrsfb did some laundry as I had run out of socks
On the way home we were amazed yet again at the number of cars in the field for the Farmer's Dog, with a horde of people making their way to the pub. You wouldn't see that many cars at a National Trust house.

Batsford Arborterium
Or is it arbertorium?
