A busy day today, washing done and dried outside, three hours of gardening done.....but that left a couple of hours to sit in the sun catching up on the newspapers. 

I plucked up the courage to book a car service - my ongoing issues with the garage continue! This time they had no record of my service plan transferred from my old car (they ordered the wrong spec and had to eventually replace it after a plethora of issues). They found the record last year and promised to update the system - obviously they didn't. They also had no record that they agreed to update the maps on my sat nav for the first three years (last year they accepted that they agreed to do it and then said they hadn't received the update and would contact me when they did - they didn't). They tell me their system has changed.....but that's their issue not mine, they should have a record of my contract and any extra things agreed. So I now have to trawl through a lever arch file of paperwork and at least 100 emails to try and find the evidence. I also ordered something from them over the phone months ago - no sign of it. And no, there isn't another garage I could use whilst I have the service plan etc. and even then the other one is a lot further away (this is a 40 min drive). I might complain directly to the manufacturer after the service as they are an approved garage.
