Tree Bumblebee?

This one has got me confused.  If it’s a Tree  humblebee its lower half ought to be black with a white tip,  not stripey like this.

So I’m not sure, I was thinking the other day that I hadn’t seen one recently, but that would also be true of several other bumblebee species.

I had a clinic visit in the morning followed by a trip into Tesco, so no Tai Chi.

And earlier I’d been playing with an image I took at the YSP.  I’ve got a number of head shots that might create a series.
