Strandshag Bay

Yesterday's storm continued through much of the morning.

My camera club's trophies have all got very old, they've run out of space for names to be added and spend most of the time in peoples attics after the presentation evening. So the decision was taken to replace them with medals to be retained by the recipients. 

They will be gifted to a museum in Workington, before which they needed photographing for the clubs records (and to go on the website). I spent much of today battling with lighting in an attempt to light the trophies yet still read all the names engraved on them. A friend from the camera club came round and helped. 

Mid afternoon I managed a walk around Strandshag Bay - so glad the storm has passed now.
