Bowscales Fell Summit and Blencathra
Please view large on black on something (much) bigger than a phone for the full effect.
We'd planned to nip up Blencathra this morning, but low cloud and high winds changed our minds. Instead, we drove round to Mungrisedale and walked up Bowscales fell, also taking in three other Birketts:
Bowscale Fell Far east top
Tarn Crags
The Tongue
The tongue was like a small version of the Nab Boggy, with a ridiculously steep and slippery descent back to Mugrisedale.
Loved this view of the top of Bowscale Fell though
