Steph Macleod in Concert

At Larbert East Parish Church this evening, for a concert and conversation with Steph Macleod. It was in support of the work of the Vine Trust in Tanzania.

A powerful speaker and musician, who for some time studied classical guitar at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Through addiction to drink and drugs, he found himself homeless in Edinburgh, in a desperate situation. He made contact with Bethany Christian Centre Hostel, and his story is here.

He has recently recorded for Songs of Praise, to be shown in later October. He has been interviewed by Sally Magnusson and Aled Jones, and appeared on Aled's Radio 2 Programme. He has just been approached by producers in Nashville - exciting times for him.

Impressive tattoo on his arm, trying to work out if his wedding band is also a tattoo, rather cool if it is.

His song : When I found Jesus.
