Wholly Moleigh

Had a 'phone and go' appointment at the doctor's this morning and it had to be the same doctor that I'd given a monkey puzzle seedling to recently! It was rather odd to be discussing a bruised leg in the surgery when only last week she had been sitting on our settee talking about Chilean plants!

Before lunch I chopped up another load of shrub prunings and took them down to the 'dump' at Moleigh, just south of the town. One more load after lunch, including a lot of older prunings which had be to sawn up. At least that's everything for now, until the man comes a week on Monday to finish chopping down the climbers from the fence which needs reinstating.

Moleigh 'dump' is run by a group known as LORI - Lorn and Oban Re-use Initiative - and they have a shop on site, part of which is my Blip today. There's an astonishing array of goods on sale - you could furnish a house from it! I bought a few DVDs - one still in the original wrapping for 20p! 

I had to laugh at this car in the car park - some people never read the signs!
