I have yet another bowls report:

THURSDAY

I spent most of the day at home, with just a few phone calls to sort out a few things and an hour in the garden. 

This evening, another home bowls match, this time against East Parade (Rhyl). Our team had nine winners out of ten games — plus two points for the aggregate score. I was happy with my own result 21–8 but it took me a few costly ends to get over the line..

The neighbouring team from Dyserth, who are also in the running for promotion, had eight winners in their match and we are  now tied with them on 120 points after 15 matches. With only three matches left in the season, it’s shaping up to be a nail-biting finish.

The allotments adjacent to the bowling green are full of sunflowers at the moment.
