Wet day in Byron Bay

I’m close to but not actually in Byron Bay, but I liked the rhyming words for today’s title. We’re here for the Byron Writers’ Festival, held in the small town of Bangalow. It’s about 10km from Byron Bay, the most easterly point on the Australian continent and a 2 hour drive south of Brisbane. 

Today has been rainy and cool. We’re staying for 2 nights in a rental cottage on the outskirts of Bangalow, one of those shown in today’s photo. Despite the wet weather we’re warm and comfortable inside.
