Friday: What is it?

I felt so tired when I got up but the washing basket was full so I did a wash, then out in the wind and sunshine it was dry within a couple of hours :-)

I was glad I’d brought the washing indoors because I had a phone call from the engineer who was going to start work on connecting us to Ultra Fast Broadband. First step being permission for our cable to connect to a pole and cross our neighbour’s garden, this was quickly done - then updating our property in the BT box at the top of our road also done - everything that could have been done has been … now we wait for the final piece which connects our home to the junction box at the bottom of our drive … might take a few days for last piece to arrive …!

I cooked up some meatballs in pasta sauce for MrD’s tea and a panful of Leek and Potato Soup, had some for lunch and it’s delicious, even if I say so myself :-))

It’s been an exhausting day, I’m really tired and plan on having an early  night …
