Heard tonight of relatives on holiday in Southern France bracing themselves for the coming heatwave where temperatures are expected to reach the 40s .

I am reminded of this quotation:
“If you have a garden and a library you have everything you need “Cicero, Roman philosopher (106 BC-43BC).

Meanwhile I can relax in our garden- with a book. If we are lucky the temperature here will reach 23C.
