Quiet flows the Allanwater

 
Afternoon in Dunblane doing some cultural stuff with a friend. The town is quiet unlike the Edinburgh Festivals taking place some 40 miles away where folk are paying up to £700  a night or £4,000 in some hotels.
 
The prices have rocketed because of the Oasis concerts.

Once upon a time we would have been in Edinburgh “doing” the Festivals.  But the sheer cost and crowds now deter us. Like many we give the city a miss until the festivals are  over which is a shame.
