Shooting

Sarah and I went into town this morning to do a big shop, planning out our meals for the next few days. (Tonight was veggie haggis with new potatoes and “super soft courgettes” cooked with lemon and harissa). We went to visit Joe and Calvin afterwards and had a good chat. Merry was very interested in Calvin, who kept an eye on her from a distance - see extra.

Home for a cup of tea, and then I made a quick visit to Dunscore Gala. When the children were young, it was a highlight of the sunmer. Going on my own just wasn’t the same…good to see families enjoying themselves, though.

I had to come home to mow the lawn and then Sarah and I took Merry and Jess down to Routin Brig for some fun in the water. A lovely sunny evening.
